About NAOT Footwear
Naot (pronounced NAY-OAT) means oasis, as in an oasis of comfort. Naot shoes and sandals are superbly crafted in Israel, a country with a 2000-year tradition of wearing sandals. Synergistic comfort is achieved through several elements in Naot's anatomic construction, including: layers of suede, cork, jute, and latex composite footbeds for superb pillowing and support; fullgrain leather, nubuck, and suede uppers (in a variety of colors); adjustable straps to accommodate individual foot characteristics; very durable EVA rubber soles; natural arch and cushion support.
